A lovely, clean and tidy cottage on a smallholding within easy reach of many of the local attractions. Definitely a good base to explore the local area, and if you like walking, a bridleway runs from the back of the property onto the local hills. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner who made the childrens holiday, allowing them to feed and pet the many animals that live on the property. I think my daughters favourites were the two lambs, two sheep and two goats, although she loved the Bubbles the turkey too! We'd definitely recommend staying here and will probably come back ourselves for a break later in the year.
